Golf Course

Longlands’ existing golf course, which includes roughly 230 m of the Longlands Creek mainstem, is proposed to be operated in future in an ecologically sensible and sustainable manner and will be upgraded to ensure year-round playability. In addition, the golf course will host much of the site’s stormwater / wastewater management infrastructure and environmental enhancement works that will transform the course from a strictly recreational amenity into an integrated environmental-infrastructure system that people can play a game of golf on.

An number of Water Management Strategies, Golf Course Operations best management practices and Environmental Enhancement Considerations have been made regarding the golf course portion of the Longlands Development proposal.  We are treating the existing golf course as an integral part of the development proposal, and aim to employ the same high standards of sustainability on the golf course as we intend on employing elsewhere on the project.
